About Aaron Poole:

Aaron Poole is a Los Angeles-based photographer renowned for his exceptional work in portraits, nature, and landscape photography. His captivating images are featured on the Ansel Adams Gallery website and social media platforms, showcasing his deep connection to the natural world. He was also the staff photographer for the LA Lakers and Kings. Aaron was one of the youngest photographers to photograph the Olympics in Vancouver. His work is featured in many arenas and at the Academy of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

Agenda:

• 10:00 AM – Welcome & Introduction to Nature Photography
• Basics of composition, lighting, and using your camera or smartphone.
• 10:30 AM – Guided Nature Walk & Photo Scavenger Hunt
• Participants will search for and photograph items on a themed nature checklist (e.g., “a bird in flight,” “a reflection,” “a colorful leaf”).
• 12:00 PM – Group Sharing & Mini Critique Session
• People can share 1–2 favorite photos and receive tips.
• 12:30 PM – Wrap-Up
• 1:00 PM – Departure or free time to explore the park

What to Bring:

• Smartphone, digital camera, DSLR
• Water bottles and snacks
• Sun protection and insect repellent
